Dance party raises awareness for Bayley House |

The Bayley House Barn had a serious case of the blues Saturday night. Friends of the Bayley House threw a successful Red Hot Summer Dance Party, attracting music lovers young and old to Pilot Hill for an evening of live jams and lots of fun. |

GDRD Board member, John Crane, reported to the Board regarding completion of the Phase 1 restoration of The Bayley House. Crane was the featured speaker at El Dorado county Historical Society in December describing the project. |

Local Officials visit Bayley House |
This past fall, officials met to discuss future plans for the Bayley House and to tour the building. As a result of this meeting preliminary plans were made to fund Phase 2 planning, secure a donation of cement for the foundation and discuss additional funding sources for further restoration.
